Al final fotógrafos de 21 países (España, Estados Unidos, Alemania, Australia, Austria, Brasil, Canadá, China, Francia, Irán, Italia, Japón, México, Portugal, Rusia, Eslovenia, Sudáfrica, Suecia, Suiza, Siria y Turquía) se han llevado un galardón. Dos españoles han obtenido un total de tres premios: Daniel Ochoa de Olza (con dos galardones por fotografías grupales en la categoría de Gente) y Sebastián Liste (con una en la categoría Vida Cotidiana). El premio gordo ha ido a parar al australiano afincado en Hungría Warren Richardson por la magnífica imagen de los refugiados sirios cruzando la frontera entre Hungría y Serbia llamada Hope for a new life (Esperanza de una nueva vida). Esa misma imagen ha logrado el primer premio en la cateogría individual de Spot News, Noticias de Actualidad..
